B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) (Nepali: वी. पी. कोइराला स्वास्थ्य विज्ञान प्रतिष्ठान), is a therapeutic foundation in Nepal. It was built up in 1993 in Dharan, a city situated in Sunsari locale in eastern Nepal, and in this way redesigned as an independent Health Sciences University on Oct 28, 1998.
The Institute is a case of Nepal-India co-operation. BPKIHS has postgraduate, undergrad, and college endorsement programs. It has four schools: Medical, Dental, Nursing, and Public Health with a 700-bed Teaching Hospital.
The B. P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences Act of 1993 enables it to allow bachelor's, ace's and doctorate degrees and different endorsements.

The Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program of BPKIHS began in 1993, has a term of 4½ years and is recorded in the World Directory of Medical Schools. The MBBS capability is perceived by the Medical Council of India.
Medicinal Facilities
In 2010 the establishment stone was laid for another school square, supported by the administration of India.
A Cath lab from Philips (Allura FC) has been set up for Coronary catheterization and Angiography. It is bolstered by Geneva University in coordinations and trainings.
